Mitsumi was the leader in selling writers in Germany in 1998 with a
marketquota of about 16,1 %. The actual fastest Mitsumi-burner is the
CR-4804TE. It writes CD-Rs and CD-RWs with 4-speed. The readingspeed is
stated at 24-fold. In comparison with the actual highest burning speed this
is only standard. The top-values are reached by Sony, Plextor, and Teac
with 8-fold writing speed, Ricoh and Yamaha are with 6-fold speed faster
too. But not only writing speed is interesting in comparing CD-burners.
Safeness is a very important feature, too. Safeness means fast burning CDs
with no burnt ruffian. The price of about 150 US $ is cooperative to every
user. So we want to have a look, how this burner comes through our test.
